SMSC

SMSC at Well Lane Primary

At Well Lane Primary we seek to develop children's spiritual, moral, social and cultural education. We hold weekly circle time lessons in each class which provide a time for listening, help develop children's attention span, promote oral communication and help children learn new concepts and skills. We have also signed up for Go-Givers, a scheme that helps children develop their SMSC education. Find out more about Go-Givers here:

Throughout the year we also have special visitors come to the school to help reinforce children's SMSC education. Please see our communities and charities page for more information.
RE - 16.5.17
Year 4
As part of our RE 'Journeys' topic, the children have looked at the story of Jonah and the Whale. They discussed the story and read it from the bible - recording the key points.
As a follow up to this, the children made mini whales with a little Jonah (out of a peg) to show him being eaten by the whale.
