Thank You also for all your support with the Poppy Appeal, we raised a fantastic £386.15!
Changes to pick ups :
Y1 and Y2 will both be leaving from the Y2 classroom door.
Parents and carers should come through the Park Road playground entrance, that we use in the morning, which will be opened at 3.05pm.
Mr Lamb opens the gate to the playground at 8.45am and closes it at 8.55am. The children will continue to come in as they have done.
I am delighted to take up the post of Head Teacher at Well Lane Primary School. My name is Mrs Daniels and I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a bit more about myself.
I have been a primary teacher for over twenty years, having taught every age group during this time. I am very excited by the developments currently taking place in the school, such as improving classrooms, creating a library, parent’s room and kitchen. I believe children should have lots of opportunities in school to explore their interests and strengths. I certainly feel Well Lane looks after the whole child and this is very important to me.
I look forward to meeting you all over the coming weeks. I will be by the classroom doors at the beginning and end of the day. Please come and introduce yourselves. I am looking forward to spending time in class with the children too.
I operate an open-door policy so please feel that you can speak to me about any concerns or ideas you have the future of the school. We are all working together for the best outcomes for the children,
I have three children of my own and understand how important it is for children to feel happy and to make good progress in school.
With all best wishes for a positive future, working together at Well Lane Primary School.
