Clubs throughout the year
Lego Club is led by Mr Leathers, Miss Leasor Miss McHugh
Lego club has been set up in order to develop the children's social and motor skills. It is available to children and has been developed in order to improve the relationships that the children have with their peers across the school.
Each week the children will be required to work with different people and create a project as a team.
Year 5 and 6 took part in a French workshop. Their parents were invited along and they were able to show off their fantastic skills within this subject. Year 6 even sang a song to finish off the events!
Charles Lee Book
Year 5 and Year 6 have taken part in a poetry writing event with published author Charles Lee. Dame Patricia Routledge also came to support the children throigh their writing. Our poems have now been published and all of the children were so proud of their achievements!
Crucial Crew Event
Year 6 had an amazing opportunity to attend the Crucial Crew Event this year. There were a number of agencies including: Merseyside Police, St. John's Ambulance Service, Scottish Power, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and the Merseyside Travel Police. The children got to wear some of the gear and learn about how to stay safe in our everchanging world. Thank you to all involved!
Each Thursday children from KS2 enjoy playing the Ukulele with Ms Wright our Music Teacher.
Ask them about the songs they have learnt to play.
Every day children from Yr6 enjoy learning through Mathletics with Mr Leathers.
Each Tuesday children from Yr 3/4 enjoy learning new dramatic skill and building on their confidence with Mrs Luximon.
