Well Lane School Council

School Council 2015-2016

In October 2015 the School Council members were elected by their classmates.  There are 2 council members from the year groups 1-6.  The children take their role very seriously, the older children take turns to write or type the minutes from each meeting.

The school council meets alternate weeks in the Rainbow Room with Mrs Clarke.

The council has been very busy so far this academic year.  We have been discussing lunchtimes as we all felt that things could be improved for the midday assistants and the children.  The children discussed their model midday assistant role.  Ideas were shared in all classes and a poster is now displayed in the hall and here on our page.

We have recently completed a list of rules we would like the children to follow at lunchtime, a poster was kindly made by Louis Ormond.  This poster is displayed in all classes and in the dinner hall for all to see.

The children try to keep to the rules as they know the importance of keeping happy and safe.
