Hello and welcome back to Year 3!
It's wonderful to see you all again. I hope you have all had a busy summer and have stayed safe. We are all so proud of how well you have all come back to school this term, you've all done brilliantly!
This year we will be having PE on a Monday but for now you don't need to bring your kit. You just need to bring trainers or pumps in a carrier bag into school every Monday and then you will take them home in the afternoon.
Could all children bring their reading books into school on a Friday and then you will be given a new book on the following Monday.
Our topic this term will be: Land Use.
This topic provides children with a chance to take a careful look at the places around them. They will become cartographers, making maps of the local area and consider where different types of farming occurs in the UK.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

In Science we have been learning about forces. We found out a force can be a push or a pull. We then acted out a few activities and decided if we were using a push or pull force.
We have been learning about Quentin Blake in Year 3. As part of our work we researched his work and made plasticine models of some of his characters.
